First-Ever Emcees Announced For MSBC

THE MOUTH, APRIL 18TH 2023 –– Morning Show Boot Camp (MSBC) 35 is gearing up for yet another great year with its first-ever trip to Dallas August 10th & 11th at The Marriott Uptown. Plus, this year’s event will also feature another first: emcees! Handling these roles for this year’s event are up and coming stars Nina Blanco and Ryan Smetzer.

Nina Blanco (@TheNinaBlanco) has been in the radio industry for over a decade, working in various markets across the U.S. From hosting morning shows in Denver, emceeing live events to thousands of people on stage in St. Louis, and occasionally standing in front of the camera shown to audiences far and wide. You can find episodes of The Nina Blanco Podcast on all major streaming platforms. She is currently heard on Middays on Mix 100 (KIMN-FM) in Denver, and doubling as Marketing Coordinator for KSE Entertainment.

Ryan Smetzer (@RyanSmetzer) is a radio, on-camera and on-stage host, currently on-air at 99.7 DJX in Louisville, Ky. and Live 96.7 in Hagerstown, Md. for Alpha Media. As the owner of Ryan Smetzer Entertainment, Ryan hosts and DJs events throughout the east coast, and provides voiceover services nationwide. Outside of the broadcast industry, Ryan co-produces and co-stars in “Bings and Potts”, a children’s show streaming on YouTube Kids and Zigazoo, and models for Joy Talent Agency in Philadelphia, Pa for various clients including QVC, Molson Coors and Jägermeister.

As emcees, Blanco and Smetzer will serve as hosts, introducing speakers and panelists, keeping the event on schedule, and engaging with attendees. Their experience in the radio industry, combined with their engaging personalities, make them the perfect duo to lead the event. MSBC 35 is one of radio’s most highly anticipated events, bringing together professionals from all over the country to network, learn, and share ideas.
