The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show welcomes you to their hometown of Dallas, TX!

We hope you have a wonderful time while you’re here for Morning Show Boot Camp! The DFW area has some of the best food and drinks in the country, so we wanted to give you some of our personal recommendations… all not too far from the MSBC hotel! 😁

Kellie Rasberry
Kellie Rasberry

Avila’s – Described as a hidden gem and visited by Guy Fieri, they accept reservations for parties of 6 or more.

Oak’d – Craft barbecue spot known for its wagyu brisket. A little farther away. Kellie is a co-owner

J-Si Chavez

Pecan Lodge – Award-winning BBQ in the Deep Ellum area. Arrive early as they sometimes sell out of meat! The area has tons of murals and great bars.

Angry Dog – Some good burgers! Also hot dogs and wings. Also in Deep Ellum.

Meso Maya – For some Mexican food and good drinks!

Big Al Mack

Campuzano on Oak Lawn – Authentic Tex-Mex along with beer & margaritas.

Nodding Donkey – A great sports bar in the State Thomas neighborhood. A great patio and wide selection of beers and great apps.

State and Allen – Neighborhood hangout with fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches and pizzas

Ana Castillejos

Taco y Vino – Like the title suggests, it’s tacos and wine, I don’t think it gets much better than that!

Sixty Vines – Italian, great vibes, lovely pizza and wine on tap

Part-Time Justin

La Ventana – Cheap and delicious street tacos and strong margaritas!

Hard Eight BBQ – Best BBQ in Texas! They have a pit master and free beans in the back by the soda machines! Not close to the hotel, but if you fly out of DFW airport, it’s just north of there, so hit it on your way out of town!

Producer Robert Ehrman

Rodeo Goat – The best burger in DFW, plus beers, and cocktails.

Delucca – Gaucho style continuous dining pizzeria. One fixed price, all you can eat.  Reservations are highly recommended.
